Firstly a little about our store.

Aussie Scrap Designs opened its doors on September 1st 2008. The store is focused on providing the best scrapkits and elements available on the net. Our designers are committed to ensuring that our customers receive the best quality product they can give. The store is run by Gail Burge, an Australian mother of 3. Gail’s experience comes from years of running online forums and groups, as well as a long history in the IT industry and Corporate Business affairs. Her aim is to ensure both a professional and friendly environment in which to sell.

What does Aussie Scrap Designs require of you as a designer?

All of your products must be copyright compliant as listed below

1.) Commercial use items purchased by yourself
2.) Commercial use items you have received or downloaded as freebies
3.) Products you have created yourself.

As your work reflects not only on yourself but also on the store, we ask that you commit to putting 100% into the items you create. Time and effort must be put into your display previews, as well as ensuring your work is of a high standard

Designers are required to commit to the store and work to promote not only their sales but to promote the store whenever possible.

Aussie Scraps supplies a preview template, you are not permitted to remove the Aussie Scraps Name from this template, and respect that this template was created for Aussie Scraps Store use only.

Your products must be uploaded to our store, and not be given in downloads links from other servers.

Designers are also required to display the Aussie Scraps Designer Blinkie on their blog or website.

We request that all designers contribute to our Monthly Collab Kit. That contribution is to be no larger than 25mb. 

All email correspondence from Aussie Scrap Designs to be acknowledged upon receipt.

If a designer is going to leave the store, it is requested that a minimum of two weeks notice is given. This allows us to back up your work should at a later date a customer have an issue with a purchase. Your kits will not be held for sale. If a designer leaves without the required notice, Aussie Scrap Designs reserves the right to with hold any of the current month’s sales from that designer.

What is the cost to you the designer?

Aussie Scraps will receive 15% of all nett sales after paypal fees. This is not negotiable. However if you make no sales, you pay nothing.

Designer payouts are done monthly and paid to the paypal address supplied in your application. It is the responsibility of the designer to keep a record of these payments.

Showcased Designer

Designers will each be showcased on a regular rotation. This will give everyone the opportunity to discount their product or promote their goods in some way. This is up to the designer to choose how they use this opportunity. We are happy to help with ideas if requested.

Monthly Designer

Each month a designer will be chosen as our Monthly Designer. The criteria for this will be assessed on the work and effort put into their work, sales, advertising and team work. The chosen designer will receive a gift certificate to purchase commercial use items.

Our Creative Team

Designers are required to join our Aussie Scraps Forum which will shortly replace our MSN group. This is used as a meeting place to share and swap ideas, to liase with our Creative Team members and to display new kits coming into our store.
Designers are welcome to join our Creative as well should they wish to do so.

Confidentiality & Concerns

All correspondence between Aussie Scraps and the designer team is to be kept confidential at all times. This includes future product information, promotions, sales etc.

If you have a problem with one of the other designers, creative team members or Aussie Scrap Designs, you are requested to email the store owner in private. Your concerns will be addressed in a timely and professional manner.

Aussie Scraps Reserves the right to request a designer leave the store if:

• The designer fails to make sales after 3 months
• The designer does not meet the terms and conditions required by the store
• The designer does not contribute new product to the store each month.

Aussie Scrap Designs reserves the right to amend our commitments and terms of agreement. All designers will be notified within 72 hours of any such changes.
